About us
Our History
Strawson Community Hall has existed in Horley since soon after the
First World War when it was donated to the town by a local
businessman, George Strawson. During the almost 100 years it has
served many purposes and is now a community meeting place
intended to provide an affordable space for small community groups
and local families
The Fire
On the 18th May 2015, a fire broke out at the hall, engulfing it in flames. 25 firefighters were called to the scene from Horley, Reigate and Crawley. Arising from the ashes, we have rebuilt the hall and are now better than ever.
Accessibility
We focus on ensuring our facility is easily accesible for everybody.
Community Focus

Family-Friendly
